Wordless Wednesday

I left BAM in the living room to go get some breakfast for me. A quick look showed nothing too dangerous that he'd get hurt with while I was gone for a minute. When I came back, this is what I saw.

Then he saw me and started walking, while holding on the basket. What's that word? It totally left my brain as I was typing that sentence. Gliding? Creeping? Oh! Cruising! Yeah. then he held out his hand, and lost his balance. He fell on his back (reminded me of a turtle!) rolled over and did it again!

Here's our third snow fall. Third? .... Yeah, the first one, we only got rain.

Our parking lot is pretty much empty, except for my van, and about 3 or 4 other cars. A while ago, I couldn't see that tree across the street. And now? there's no white snow left in the parking lot. It's just slush.

Well, I hear the bambino making playing with his toys, I guess I'd better get ready to go feed him. But maybe, he'll play by himself for a while longer :)

Wordless Wednesday

Ok, for real this time.
Each baby has a picture ornament, right? this bright little thing is Brendon's. I love the giraffe on the side. And the cheetah's tail? It's actually fuzzy! How cute is that?

The picture is from our recent Christmas picture sessions. Maybe one day I'll get around to showing them off. It took a while for him to warm up to the photographer, but once he did, he was a star!










It's a little snow family! Everyone with me now, "aww". Our first three-member family ornament. CCM and Karl gave it to us.











Now these two are my true favorites. They're last years versions, but that's ok, becuase I bought them with this year in mind. We were newly pregnant, and all I had on my mind (besides food and throw it up later, sorry!) was I'm a mommy, and Mark's a daddy! Then I found these things on sale, and voila! 2009 ornaments!

How could I do pictures, and not include this little guy? Huh? Doesn't he just make you wish he was on your tree, stealing your peppermints?



OK, so maybe it wasn't completely wordless, but when I'm at home with just myself and the baby is sleeping...*gasp* the baby is sleeping! it's after 4 and he's sound asleep! Maybe I need to go check on him.....

Wordless Wednesday

We, meaning mom-in-law, Melinda, the bambino and I, headed out to the NEW! Target. It was a nice experience. The store still had the new, clean smell. All the racks were nicely organized. Everything was fully stocked.

This one, we hadn't gone anywhere, except to send a letter and check the mail. I put him in the sling in the first place because he wouldn't sleep for more than 20 mins by himself. He slept in the sling for about an hour and a half. Enough time to go visit the office people who were dying to see him again, and to put BamBam's clothes away, and to make some cookies. But as usual, the cookies cooked a little too long...oh well. Maybe one day, I'll be a good cookie maker.

I have a wrap too. I even got a picture with BamBam in it, but I'm not sure where that picture is. It might be on my camera, but my memory card reader went kaput the other day, so it'll just have to sit there until I can find another reader. While the bambino is sleeping, I think I shall take a nap too. It's time.

My little project/Wordless Wednesday with a post

My mom and sister came down for my ultrasound and stayed to help paint Brendon's room. This first wall is done, except I just threw those stickers up there. I'm going to move them to the top, like a border. That way, it'll keep the busyness away from hitting you in the face.


This is the wall opposite the other stripey one. We ran out of tape...twice...and time. But Mom and Blondie really helped to get it going. I just have to pick up one more roll of tape, finish the stripes, and paint the other two walls. They're going to be solid. I'll show you the finished thing when it's done.


Oh, these are the letters I'm painting for his name. They're going to go above the window on a solid wall.

But as you can see, he kept his face smooshed up against my uterus wall, as if he was saying, "That's it! I'm through!"
